Nana Ama Mcbrown is hard to tame - Okyeame Kwame

Hiplife star and former boyfriend of Nana Ama Mcbrown, Okyeame Kwame, says he wasn’t surprised when he first learnt of her break up with businessman Nana Wiafe Akenteng. He told Showghana.com that Nana Ama is a very hard girl for any man to handle so it didn’t come as a surprise when she called him and broke the news of her break up.

“I know her quite well…she’s not the type of lioness that you can easily cage. She’s not a walkover. She’s quite tough and she gets her way. Relationship is about compromises and when she wants to fool there is no compromising. She goes about it; whether you beat her, kill her or not. When it happens like that it makes it quite difficult unless she changes her mind or has a change of heart. The way I know her, it will be difficult for anyone to keep her as a wife,” he explained with some hesitation.

On whether he thinks she might have changed since then, Okyeame Kwame said Nana Ama Mcbrown is the only person who can confirm it only through her actions.

The relationship between Nana Ama Mcbrown and Nana Wiafe Akenteng began when she broke up with Okyeame Kwame. Early this year, Nana Ama broke up with Nana Wiafe citing irreconcilable differences but the news leaked to the press months after. Nana Wiafe is at present based in the U.S.A.

Okyeame Kwame, also known as the Rap Doctor, mentioned the great respect he has for Nana Ama for the help she offered during their relationship. “I think the fact that I went out with her was a very good platform for me to jump back into stardom, apart from the fact that she was the strength behind my solo project-minus my family. Her time, energy and everything went into making it,” he admitted.

What Ghana Movies have taught us...the good, the bad and the ugly!

So you have been watching Ghana movies for awhile now and you should have noticed most of the movies have life lessons. But sometimes do you ever wonder, "what was the producer smoking?!!…." You are not the only one!

Below are highlighted realistic and unrealistic things Ghana movies try to teach us:

Unrealistic
1. A graduate or a girl from a respectable family can date a trotro mate or even a bus driver. In which parallel universe? Especially in Africa where status rules us!

2. If you are in love with a person, you can sacrifice your family. Sweetheart have you heard of Divorce and Break-ups?

3. A father must shower his daughter's boyfriend with gifts, cars and even jobs just for dating their daughter. Once again in which parallel universe. Aren't the guys that usually pay out in Ghana? Ghana ain't India.

4. Don't bother paying your hospital bills because a rich handsome man will appear out of nowhere visiting a family member and pay it. Wait for it!!!, he will even fall in love with you.

5. A romantic outing is going to a z-class boutique and maxing out a guy's card. That's not romantic, thats just Gold-digging.

6. If you are ever jilted by a guy, just grab a gun and head to the chapel he is getting married at. Just be ready to serve a sentence in a dirty Ghana prison!

7. Don't worry about an acid being thrown over your face, you can always get a re-construction and come out looking hotter than you were before. Y'all know which movie we are talking about!

8. Is okay to prostitute yourself. After all a rich handsome guy will clean you up and make you a housewife.

Realistic

There is not much but we will try. Okay lets see;

1. What Goes around Comes around. This is definitely true. Watch what you do unto others.

2.  After everything, God Prevails

3. Treat your house girl well because she might end up stealing your husband!

4. Abortion is No No!

5. Money ain't everything in life, sometimes you just need to relax and chill.

Sexy Nana Ama McBrown is Single Again

The beautiful Ghanaian movie star certainly stirs up a lot of passions in her male admirers, with her usual suavity and sex appeal on screen. It is therefore not surprising that she has been romantically linked with some of her male co-stars including Van Vicker and Omar Shariff Captan, largely due to their frequent on-screen romances. However her biggest and most obvious off-screen romance was with Okyeame Quame, one half of the former Hiplife mega group, Akyeame. There were even talks of a marriage and neither of the pair denied it. But out of the blue, there was news that Nana Ama was married to Nana Wiafe Akenteng an Ashanti Chief. There was even an exclusive interview/feature on Nana Ama and her new hubby in one of Ghana’s national dailies to that effect.

However, the Kumasi-based actress recently explained in a radio interview that she is single and in fact was never married. “Single?”, the host of the radio programme asked in utter surprise. “Yes, in fact I never got married and never got engaged. The closest I got to marriage was at the knocking stage”, Nana Ama replied.

So why did she paint the perfect picture of being happily married in all her previous interviews? Well, Nana Ama has a good answer to that… “Well, perhaps they wanted to sell their papers and their magazines”. Yea, trust me that was her answer, unbelievable right? Well in Ghana, most people cannot differentiate between a traditional knocking ceremony and engagement when it comes to marriage customs. Perhaps this explains why the media took her knocking ceremony for marriage. Who can blame them, with all those plenty customs. “I am free…” Nana Ama concluded, “…but it doesn’t mean that every man is welcomed.”

Well if you are interested in marrying the screen diva, just make sure that E! or Hello magazine is there to cover your wedding just for posterity sake. LOL
